E308-Microsoft Press Conference-Resident Evil 5

Now I know everyone is hyped about Resident Evil's fifth game finally coming to Xbox 360 (probably since PS3 is dull). So at the MS conference we were able to see a demo of RE5 that showed the new multiplayer function to it. When they showed the demo it had a RE4 feel by the fact that it had a close up view behind the main character returning from RE1,Chris Redfield. We are then treated to see Chris's new partner and the group they both come from. He new works for a special force called BSAA and his partner,Sheeva Olimar, who is from the African portion of the BSAA. We got to see the zombies which had a feel to RE4's but in a newer variation. Oh and don't worry they aren't all black like some people thought when they had seen the first trailer. You get to see the aspect of teamwork that is needed when playing RE5's co-op mode which is also only. To get over certain parts like far ledges Chris will bend down with his hands open for Sheeva to step on while Chris launches her to the other side. It was said that teamwork will be very very important to sue in the new Resident Evil so this online co-op will help if you have a best friend to team up with. Resident Evil 5 is set to hit stores in america and europe on March 13th,2009 and
July 12th, 2009 in japan. Dont forget to stick with tGN for our coverage of E3 ending on Thursday July 17th.

ehhh...leone from res 4 was better man..res 5 is kinda over hyped..i think is gonna b balls like res unbrella chrinicles for the wii..the graphics look good..but i think the 360 and ps3 will fuck up the story ..

and is there going to be online play?
